Gloucester County’s newest wedding service is Blessed Days LLC. Blessed Days was started in August by the Rev. Chris Wilkins of Gloucester. He officiates for weddings, full ceremonies and elopements, and vow renewals.

Chris Wilkins conducted his first wedding in September, a ceremony in Topping.

Wilkins was ordained in February of this year by the First Nation Church & Open Ministry. He is an approved marriage commissioner in Virginia.

Wilkins is originally from England, which is also where he completed his studies. He said that his credits from England do not transfer to America, and that he’s having to start at square one on his next goal of becoming ordained in the Episcopal Church. He said it may take six years, but it will be worth it.
