Bird walk to be held locally on Oct. 18

The Middle Peninsula Bird Club will guide participants in a bird walk at 8 a.m. next Thursday, Oct. 18, at a large, private conservation property in Gloucester.

The property features mature mixed woods, open fields and a path to Cow Creek Mill Pond. Participants are invited to bring binoculars, scopes and cameras on this easy-walking event. Call Felicity at 804-815-1718 to register and receive directions.
