Big strawberries grown at Fitchetts

Twenty-one strawberries make a quart. That is the kind Mr. Daniel Richardson raises on his farm, near Fitchetts. And they’re ready now.

Among the travelling men registered at Hotel Mathews this week were: McKay, Hammonds, Clopton, Harris, Guy and Scher.

Mr. Myron Bristow and mother, of Gloucester Point, spent from Friday to Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Blake at Hotel Mathews.

Invitations are out for the marriage of Miss Mae Hudgins to Mr. Philip Alonzo Cason, on Wednesday, June 3, 1908. Miss Hudgins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Hudgins, of Norfolk, who are well known in this county and have many friends and relatives here.
