Beverly Joy (Yaghjian) Arabian, age 82, of Mathews, Virginia, died peacefully at home on Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, V. Benjamin and Hilda (Ford) Yaghjian, and a brother, Martin B. Yaghjian.

Beverly was an avid reader, an animal lover, and supported the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. She cherished her pet chihuahua, Annie. She was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, moving to Virginia in January 2006. Beverly enjoyed working with her plants and special arrangements inside and outside of her home.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert H. Arabian; a son, Robert A. Arabian of Warwick, Rhode Island, and a daughter, Jennifer Joy Stevens and her husband Gary Stevens of Gloucester, and grandson, James Jared Arabian of Cranston, Rhode Island. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews.
