Betty Shipley Wallace, 89, of Providence Forge, died on Aug. 29, 2025 at Westminster-Canterbury of Richmond. She was a graduate of Mathews High School Class of 1954. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Nina) and Jim (Diane) and their families, and sisters, Evelyn (Thomas), Doris, and Bunnie (Bill). She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wallace; son, William Braxton Wallace, and sisters, Lillie Bass, Helen Talman and Vivian Abernathy.
