Bettie S. Stubblefield, 89, of Gloucester, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Garnett West Stubblefield, and five siblings. She worked for the postal service at the Achilles Post Office and the Bena Post Office.

Survivors include nieces, Belinda Hicks, Rebecca Hibbard and Ann Gentry, and nephews, Joe, John and Jimmy Powell.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 at Gloucester Point Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Richard Croxton.

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, was in charge of arrangements.
