A number of Best Years Trips, and a Bingo program, are on the agenda of Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism.

On Sunday, April 21, there will be a Best Years Trip to Norfolk’s Scope Arena for the Virginia International Tattoo. The group will leave at noon and return around 6:30 p.m. The fee is $75 and the deadline to register is this Sunday, April 14.

The next Best Years Trip is planned for Sunday, May 5 to the Little Theater of Smithfield to see a performance of “The Sound of Music.” The trip is from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The fee is $45 and April 14 is the deadline for this trip as well.

On May 15, there will be a trip to Henricus and on June 12 there will be a trip to see “The Wizard of Oz” at the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts in Fredericksburg. More information about all the Best Years Trips can be found online.

Bingo

In addition to the trips, Gloucester PRT is holding a Bingo game for ages 55 and over from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 24, at the Stewart Building. Winnings are prizes; no cash. The fee is $10 and the deadline to register is April 17.
