Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism has several programs specifically designed for those ages 55 and older, including a pair of Best Years Trips next month.

The trips are planned for Monticello on Wednesday, Aug. 9 and the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk on Wednesday, Aug. 16. The Monticello trip will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The fee is $95 and the deadline to register Aug. 2. The Chrysler Museum trip runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The fee is $30 and the deadline to sign up is Aug. 9.

In addition, Gloucester PRT will hold a Bingo contest for those 55 and older from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at the Stewart Building. Winnings are prizes, no cash. The fee is $10 and the deadline to register is Aug. 16.
