Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism will restart its Best Years Club trips for ages 55 and over on Sept. 18 with a trip to Heathsville, where participants will visit Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern for a farmers’ market and living history day.

The bus will leave Gloucester at 8 a.m., returning at 2:30 p.m. The fee is $22 and Sept. 11 is the deadline to sign up.On Nov. 14, the Best Years Club will visit the Little Theater of Virginia Beach to see a production of “Hello Dolly.” That bus will leave at 11 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m. The fee is $36 and Nov. 3 is the deadline to register.

Senior exercise

Gloucester PRT has a pair of other senior programs on its schedule. Senior Floor Yoga begins on Thursday, Sept. 2 or Tuesday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at the PRT office. Bring a mat. The fee is $32 for September on Tuesdays; $40 for September on Thursdays. The deadline is Aug. 29.
