‘Berry school’ offered online

A two-day virtual “berry school” about growing and harvesting many types of berries is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 18-19 by Virginia Cooperative Extension at Virginia State University.

The school will include online sessions and demonstrations by berry experts on soil preparation, planting, varieties, pruning, pest management, disease management, and harvesting, VSU said.
