Margaret Benton-Jones of Yorktown, is the artist of the month for the Art Speaks Gallery at the Bay School in Mathews.Benton-Jones paints a variety of subjects, from sailboats to sunflowers, as well as images of places she has lived and visited.
Although she has no formal art training and is basically self-taught, Benton-Jones has participated in many classes in person and online. She is inspired by such artists as Van Gogh and Monet.
