Benjamin Ryland Kemp, 89, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022. He was the son of the late Curtis and Alice Kemp.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy Roseberry; sister, Lillian Hudgins; grandsons, William and Michael Foran and Shawn and Shane Kemp; granddaughter, Shayna Kemp; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services are being planned.

Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
