BENJAMIN MARBLE III

Benjamin Marble III, 31, of Gloucester, died on June 10, 2015.

A Celebration of Life for Ben will take place on June 28 at 2 p.m. at Damon & Company, Gloucester.  

Ben, a Virginia native, was born in Norfolk on Nov. 3, 1983. He attended Gloucester High School and went on to work for International Marine Industrial Applications and traveled all over the United States for work, residing in Rhode Island, Hawaii, San Diego, Calif., and his home, G-town. He loved his family, the Redskins, and treasured new experiences. 

Benjamin is survived by his parents, Stacy and Melvin Ruff; his father, Benjamin Marble; brothers, Adam Marble, Rashad Gotay, and Isaiah Ruff; his sister, Tianna Marble; grandmother, Audrey Frank; nephew, Sean Wilkinson; best friend, Sean (Red-Cap) Lynch, and the love of his life, Jessica Devitt. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends that he loved and loved him.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the community of support we cherish, all of his friends who have shared so many memories, and all those near and far that have lifted Ben and us in prayer.  

Isaiah 40:31: But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
