Benjamin Franklin Gore, 90, of Wicomico, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2015.
He leaves behind his wife, Betty; a son, Robert Brannon and his wife Tracie, and a granddaughter, Tori and her husband.
Frank sailed the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in WWII while serving in the Navy. After returning to civilian life, he enlisted in the Army and was a crane operator. As a civilian, he built bridges for many construction companies. He moved to Gloucester in 1971 with his family.
He was a member of the Rock Church of Gloucester in Hayes.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the Rock Church, 3515 Rt. 17, Hayes.
