Belinda Hale Wright, 66, died at home in North, Va., surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, June 10, 2016.
Belinda was an amazing woman with a very strong faith and an active member of her church, All Saints Anglican Catholic Church.
In her professional life she was a real estate agent and then a broker and owned her own business. Among her honors she became interested in karate and worked very hard to earn her Black Belt at the age of 63! Belinda enjoyed cooking and creating new recipes for her family and friends to enjoy along with a glass of red wine. She loved new adventures and once she started something she saw it through to the end. Belinda never met a stranger and people were drawn to her like a magnet. She raised three children and was “Mama B” to all the friends of her children. She was joyful, grateful and had an amazing outlook on life. Her beloved family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends were precious to her and loving each one of them was the success story of Belinda’s life.
She is survived by her daughter, Shari Davis Pruitt and husband Paul; sons, Barry Caldwell and wife Liberty, and Bryan Caldwell and wife Robin; mother, LaMae Shaw and husband George; father, Douglas Hale; grandchildren, Matthew Young, Phillip Young, Hailey Caldwell, and Jessica Sills and husband David; great-grandchildren, Jakob and Kaleb Sills; brother, David Hale and wife Libby; sisters, Barbara Buchanan and husband Wayne, Marlene Charles, and Marsha Viers; her faithful canine companion, Avie, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
A Celebration of Life service conducted by the Rev. Jeffrey Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at All Saints Anglican Catholic Church, Saluda. Inurnment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
