‘Becky’s Garden’

Brent Heath, center, gave Gloucester Daffodil Club members a private tour of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs on Saturday, April 16. He shared planting tips and his knowledge of each daffodil in “Becky’s Garden.” The club had a busy month, with members competing in a number of shows, including the Mid-Atlantic Daffodil Show in Gloucester, Virginia Daffodil Society Show at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond, Washington Daffodil Society show in Alexandria, and Upperville Garden Club show in Fauquier County. They won hundreds of ribbons during the process, said a press release, and several members will attend and compete at the American Daffodil Society National Convention in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, at the end of April. The club was formed in September 2018 and has more than 80 members from Gloucester, Mathews, and the surrounding area.
