Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism will hold The Full Hike, an approximately 9-mile hike from one end of Beaverdam Park to the other, on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

Participants will meet at the main entrance at 9, where they will be shuttled to the Fary’s Mill Road entrance to start their hike back to the main entrance. The registration fee is $5 and the deadline to register is today, Thursday, April 18.

KAYAKING 101: Gloucester PRT will offer Kayaking 101 for ages 16 and older from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at Beaverdam, where participants will be taught the basics of kayaking. Kayaks, personal flotation devices and paddle included. The fee is $15 and the deadline to sign up is April 27.
