Two strikingly different sunsets were captured recently by photographers in Gloucester and Mathews counties. Above, Beaverdam Park Ranger Michelle Maynora-Hostinsky took this photo of a dock at the Gloucester park. Below, Chris Bridge took this image of an osprey nest over Stokes Creek, across from where she lives in Diggs. Bridge said it reminded her that “these beautiful neighbors will be leaving within the month to fly as much as 5,000 miles to South America for the winter.” ...
