‘Be a Santa to a Senior’

Each year, Bay Aging participates in HomeInstead’s “Be a Santa to a Senior” program, which provides gifts to low-income older adults in the community. Many recipients requested basic necessities such as clothing, winter gear, paper products, laundry supplies and toiletries. Bus driver Larry Chatham, left photo, piloted the Bay Transit sleigh loaded with over 460 gifts, and a team of Bay Aging staff led by Stephanie Hutton sorted and organized the donations for distribution across the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.
