Blessed Couples United Outreach hosted last weekend’s “I Am Enough” Empowerment Retreat, a transformative event designed to inspire and uplift young women. The retreat was held at Camp Piankatank, Hartfield, on Friday and Saturday; attendees were in grades 6-12 from various schools throughout Virginia.
Peasley Middle School principal Kelly Stewart kicked off the retreat with an inspirational talk titled “Navigating Through Life.” Her discussion around the bonfire emphasized focusing on strengths, setting goals, celebrating success, and maintaining emotional well-being. Attendees enjoyed activities such as roasting marshmallows, making s’mores, and eating popcorn.
