Bazzani seeks third term as supervisor

Current York District supervisor Phillip Bazzani, 66, has announced that he is seeking re-election to a third term this November to the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors.

Originally from Newport News, Bazzani is a product of immigrant parents and is the only member of his family born in the U.S. He and his wife Susie moved to Gloucester in 1981 and brought up two children through the Gloucester school system.

Bazzani has a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, an MBA in finance from Old Dominion University, and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager through the National Contracts Management Association.

Professionally, Bazzani has an extensive background in the world of finance. He spent over 30 years working with Newport News Shipbuilding where he was responsible for cost and finance management control of an $8 billion Submarine Construction Program.
