Several Baystars youth soccer team recorded wins last weekend. Adelie The Baystars U10 Adelie team won its first game against the division’s top ranked Smithfield Blaze, 1-0, over the weekend. Avery Shinault scored the sole goal of the game. Hurricanes The U10 Hurricanes defeated the Chesapeake IBXFC U11 Waves, 9-1, over the weekend. Theo Collins scored five goals throughout the match. Declan Long scored twice and Abel Williams and Jack Sheridan scored once each. Goalkeepers Spencer Leigh and Jep Doley combined for five saves. The defense was led by Braiden Fry. Threshers The U13 Threshers achieved a 6-0 shutout win over the Tidewater Sharks at Woodville Park on Saturday.
