MARLINS: The Baystars U12 Marlins youth soccer team topped the Chesapeake United SC Fury, 4-1, on Saturday at Woodville Park. The Fury took the lead in the first half but Lilyan Wright responded for the Marlins with a goal after an assist from Emily Baker and the first half ended at 1-1. The Marlins dominated the second half with an unassisted goal from Kacy Dudley, a second goal from Wright assisted by Jenna Sheesley, and the final goal from Eliza Leo with an assist from Ava Santellanes. Halea Korte had the second-half shutout at goalkeeper. The Marlins look to close an undefeated season when they face off with the Beach FC Strikers on Saturday at Woodville.

MARAUDERS: The Baystars U13 Marauders fell, 2-1, to the Chesapeake CSC Platinum Avengers on Saturday at the Chesapeake Soccer Complex.
