Bayside Joinery relocates to Cobbs Creek

Bayside Joinery Co., LLC, a specialty wood fabrication business, has relocated from Mathews Court House to Cobbs Creek.

Owner Rick Andrews said he has a better layout for his business than at the former Dollar General store on Main Street in Mathews, where he was located for several years. He began the business in the early 1990s, operating from a home office in Henrico County and a fabrication plant in Charles City County.

Andrews said Bayside Joinery recently added on-site construction services and plans to add an outdoor display of some of its products and a showroom with more displays later this year.

He employs eight full- and part-time workers, including his son Luke, 23, who works full-time doing production work and marketing. His older daughter, Danielle, 30, does bookkeeping for Bayside; Luke resides in Mathews and Danielle in New Kent.
