Kaylee Nicole Jones was recently awarded Bayside Youth Ballet’s Heidi Jo South and Jerry and Jahn Ramsey Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. Heidi Jo was a member of the ballet company and Jahn was a past president. The purpose of the scholarship is to promote the continuing education of BYB members in the fields associated with dance and the performing arts, and to offer financial support to those members that are majoring in or planning to major in a curriculum related to dance, the performing arts, and/or liberal arts. Jones will be attending the College of William and Mary in the fall, pursuing a major in English with a minor in Dance. Jones is the daughter of Tony and Kara Jones of Gloucester.
