Baylands Family Credit Union, with headquarters in West Point, has won first place in the state-level Desjardins Financial Education Awards.
The award recognizes credit unions “for their commitment and innovative financial education programs for youth or adults,” a release said. This is the second consecutive year that Baylands has won the award.
Baylands was established in 1946 and now is a $94 million not-for-profit cooperative owned by 5,900 members with four branches offering services in nine counties.
