Gov. Glenn Youngkin has appointed Brian Bayford of Gloucester to serve on Virginia’s State Water Commission.

Bayford is the retired vice president of Water Pro, Inc., and the owner/operator of Reef in Peace.

The State Water Commission was established by the General Assembly to study all aspects of water supply and allocation problems in the state, and coordinate the legislative recommendations of all other state entities having responsibilities with respect to water supply and allocation issues.
