Bay School reopens after holidays

After a two-week, post-holiday hiatus, The Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews reopened Monday, announcing its February shows and releasing the catalog of classes for January through June.

The Art of Travel exhibit will have a two-day opening at the end of this month, with hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29. There will also be an online preview show after noon on Thursday, Jan. 27.

The exhibit will include art that is inspired by all forms of travel, travel destinations, and famous locations. It will include photography, hanging art, pottery, and jewelry and will be on display through Feb. 21.
