The Bay School in Mathews has launched an effort to “Color Our County” with positive thoughts and pictures by participating in the nationwide “Chalk your Walk” movement.

Communities and neighborhoods all across the country are using art to create hope and inspire positive thoughts during this challenging time, said a press release.

Participants are invited to drop by the Bay School on Main Street and pick up an Art-to-Go packet that includes sidewalk chalk and a take-home art project with activities for the whole family. Supplies are limited, so there will be 30 chalk art kits available for pick up outside the classroom entrance on Friday. Everyone can still participate, however, by purchasing their own sidewalk chalk and downloading the worksheets from the Bay School website.
