Bay School hosts a ‘Tea Through Time’

A Ladies Tea will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Bay School Community Arts Center on Main Street in Mathews.

The afternoon will include a talk on “Tea Through Time: History and Etiquette of Tea in America,” presented by Marilyn Iglesias and Kim Forslund at 2:30.

Scones, savories and sweets will accompany the tea. Those attending are invited to bring their own favorite afternoon tea cup and be ready to share its history with the gathering.

Four local artisans will have holiday ornaments available for purchase.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $30, and are available at bayschool-arts.com. Click on “Afternoon Tea for a Queen.”
