Bay School announces summer event schedule

In addition to offering a wide variety of adult classes, summer arts camps for children, and a diverse exhibition schedule showcasing regional artists, the Bay School Community Arts Center, Mathews, has a summer event schedule that includes cultural culinary events for adults and the inaugural launch of the Family Arts & Barks Festival.
On June 18, from 5:30-8 p.m., the Bay School is hosting a Cuban Progressive Dinner that explores the cuisine and culture of Cuba. The evening will begin at the school’s Art Speaks Gallery at 5:30 p.m. for cocktails and appetizers and then progress to the White Dog Bistro to enjoy a four-course, Cuban-inspired feast crafted by chef Walter Wilkes. The evening also includes raffles for artwork and other items. Tickets are $125 for members and $135 for non-members. Ticket sales end June 11.
