On Thursday next, the 25th, there will be a Baseball game between two picked nines on the lawn in front of the home of Mr. Nels Nelson, Foster, at 2:30 P.M. After the game there will be dancing. S.W. Treakle and Geo. Treakle barely escaped serious injury when their Ford coupe was hit broadside by a Chevrolet truck driven by Mr. Wm. S. Ripley on the Bayside road last Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred when Mr. Ripley drove from his lane just as the Ford was passing on the main road. The coupe was hit a terrific blow and turned over three times before coming to rest with wheels in the air.
