Three bankers from Chesapeake Bank—VP Regional Manager Kevin Hill, Assistant VP Regional Manager Sarah Burney and Digital Fraud Prevention Manager Christina Baker—were among the 89 bankers who graduated from the Mid-Atlantic School of Banking on Aug. 7. The three-year school is sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Bankers Association, which is comprised of the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia Bankers Associations. The school represents the merger of the former Virginia and Maryland banking schools following the associations’ merger in 2024. Held at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, the school is designed to empower current and emerging leaders with advanced knowledge, practical skills and strategic insight.
