Bank of Lancaster opens loan office at Hartfield

Bank of Lancaster held a grand opening in May for its new loan production office at Hartfield Village, 10880 General Puller Highway, Hartfield.

Robert Fleet III, vice president of residential lending, heads the local office. He is based at the bank’s main office in Kilmarnock.

Regular staff in the new office includes residential loan specialists Brenda VanGieson and Cindy H. White and Kay Snow, office manager and sales assistant.

VanGieson said they handle an assortment of residential loan products, including loans for houses, lots and construction. Also, they handle mortgage loans and equity loans, she said.

The new office has been well received, she said, and the staff has handled a lot of refinancing for clients during its first couple months in operation.

VanGieson has 32 years’ banking experience with 15 years of mortgage experience. She resides in Gloucester with her husband Hank and they have two children: daughter Laura, a rising junior at James Madison ...
