Bank of Lancaster moves into Middle Peninsula

The Bank of Lancaster, a major presence in the Northern Neck business community for the past 85 years, is now offering full banking services to customers on the Middle Peninsula.

The bank’s Hartfield branch, located on General Puller Highway in the Middlesex County community, opened its doors to customers on June 15. A grand opening celebration including refreshments and drawings for prizes was held on June 26.

The branch is located at Hartfield Village in space that already housed a residential lending office for the Bank of Lancaster. The residential lending staff specializes in residential mortgages.

Megan Hudnall of Kilmarnock heads the new branch bank staff. She also is manager of Bank of Lancaster’s White Stone office.

Hudnall said that Bank of Lancaster is offering specials on certificates of deposit in conjunction with the new office opening. It operates a full-service office at Hartfield, she said, which offers many banking services as well as the residential l...
