Ballot set for election in Gloucester

Tuesday was the deadline for candidates to file their paperwork to participate in the Nov. 5 general election.

In Gloucester, voter registrar Bobbi Morgan said Republican John Meyer Jr. will face off with independent Grant Keller for the at-large seat on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors.

In the York Magisterial District board of supervisors’ race, three independents—Marcia Mickle, Graham Blake and Phillip Bazzani—will be on the November ballot.

Qualifying to be on the ballot for the Petsworth district seat on the county board are independents Michael Winebarger and Michael Jenkins.

School board candidates that have filed their paperwork are Charles Records (at-large), Carla Hook (York), Anita Parker (Petsworth) and Troy Andersen (Gloucester Point). All four are running unopposed. The Gloucester Point seat is up for a special election to fill the unexpired term of Jean Pugh, who died last September.
