Baked with love

The Abingdon Ruritan Club has several members who love to bake. So it was a perfect idea the club’s Public Service Committee came up with to donate Valentine’s Day baked goods to the county’s first responders as a small token of appreciation for all their hard work. Members donated dozens of treats, including cakes, candy, cookies, cupcakes and truffles, that were delivered to the county’s 911 center, Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office and Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station 3 on Friday.
