George Bains has been promoted within Gloucester County from Chief Information Technology Officer to Deputy County Administrator, effective March 1, according to County Administrator Brent Fedors.
Bains has more than 33 years of public sector experience in information technology, project management and engineering services. He has held his current role overseeing the county’s Information Technology and Geographic Information Systems departments, and serving on the county’s Executive Leadership Team since 2019.
“I am thrilled that Mr. Bains has accepted this promotion to Deputy County Administrator for Gloucester County,” said Fedors. “In both his past and more recent tenure, he has made significant and innovative contributions to Gloucester County, and in his expanded role, we anticipate continued improvements, streamlining, and efficiencies in both internal and external processes.
