The Mathews YMCA soccer program is back in business. After over a year of no youth sports, the Y started back up earlier this month with soccer under the direction of head coaches Garrett and Geoff Gregory of Seven Rivers FC. The volunteer coaches are leading the children through skills development to knock off the cobwebs, and they’re having regular scrimmage games. Here, in a scrimmage among the 12-15 year-old players, Kristen Hudgins, center, takes aim at the goal.
