Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Inc., will begin its yearly Santa Runs in lower Gloucester County on the Saturday following Thanksgiving and running each Saturday through Dec. 21.
All the runs begin at 8 a.m., with Santa and Mrs. Claus touring the area in an AVFR fire truck. The first Santa Run, on Nov. 30, will be in the Guinea area. The following Saturday, Dec. 7, Santa will be in the Tidemill area.
On Dec. 12, the Santa Run will take place in the Hayes area, from Bellehaven Drive to Linda Circle. The final Santa Run of the season, on Dec. 21, will be on Providence Road to the Coke area.
