Autism Acceptance

Gloucester County Public Schools held Autism Acceptance Spirit Week earlier this month in honor of Autism Acceptance Month. Students and staff at Botetourt Elementary School wore red on April 13 to emphasize public awareness, promote acceptance, celebrate the differences and be more inclusive towards autistic individuals. Pictured is third grader Aubri Robbins sporting red (in above left photo), paraprofessionals Chrystal Stump and Jennifer Miller standing with pre-K student Banxlee Whirley (above right photo) and pre-K educators Stephanie Whitt and Heather Adams, from left, standing with pre-K students Liam Parsons (at left) and William Stubbs (below right photo).
