Authors to take part in reading, book signing

Authors who have been published by High Tide Publications will have a book signing from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday at Arts on Main in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public.

The following Literary Lights from High Tide Publications will read selections from their books:Cindy L. Freeman, a retired music educator and music minister, will read from her novel, “The Dark Room.”Retired CIA analyst David Cariens will read from his memoir “Escaping Madness,” as well as from his textbook, “Eight Steps to Writing Your Memoir.”

Janice Hoffman, author and college writing instructor, will read poetry from her books, “Soul Cookies” and “Azaleas in October.”

Award-winning poet Sharon Canfield Dorsey will read from her recently-published book of poetry, “Walk with Me.”Award-winning author and artist Mary Montague Sikes will read from two of her books, both illustrated with her own paintings, “Artful Angels” and “Spirit Visions Soul Songs.”
