Local authors Shawn “S.A.” Cosby of Gloucester, and Brad Parks of Middlesex, pictured from left, were among just 13 authors nationwide whose books were named last week to Kirkus Reviews’ list of Best Mysteries and Thrillers of 2021. Kirkus Reviews is one of the nation’s preeminent book review publications. Cosby is holding Parks’s book, “Unthinkable,” while Parks holds Cosby’s “Razorblade Tears.”
