Auditions Sunday for ‘Dead Giveaway’

Auditions for the Court House Players production of the breezy chiller “Dead Giveaway” by Pat Cook will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Cobbs Creek Arts Center, 61 Cobbs Creek Lane.
The cast calls for five women who can appear to be around 70 years old or so, one woman between the ages of 25 and 40, and one man between the ages of 40 and 70.
The show tells the story of five old friends who are living out their golden years together. It sounds idyllic, except that the “friends” aren’t very friendly, Beryl has dusted off her husband’s gun, and there are questions about whether the new housekeeper was really hired for her cleaning abilities.
In “Dead Giveaway,” you’re not sure who or what to believe and who is really murdering who.
Directed by Cindy Bocrie, “Dead Giveaway” will rehearse at Cobbs Creek Arts Center, where three performances will be held Oct. 24-26.
