The Court House Players will hold auditions in January for two upcoming productions—its spring play, “Arsenic and Old Lace,” and the children’s musical, “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”

Arsenic and Old Lace

Auditions for the classic mystery/comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace” will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Main Street Center, Gloucester, in the vacant corner space between Rite Aid and H&R Block.

There are roles for three women—two elderly and one aged 25-30—and for 11 men—one lead, three peculiar characters, four police officers, and assorted small parts and walk-ons.

The show will be performed April 29-May 1 at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins.

Beauty and the Beast
