Atlantic Broadband, a cable provider in Mathews County, is offering local businesses a new service—Hosted Voice.

With Hosted Voice, small and medium-sized businesses have access to a range of features typically only available to much larger businesses, according to a press release from Atlantic Broadband. These features include auto-attendant, hold music, web conferencing, voicemail and multiple extensions.

The features will be especially beneficial for companies that have employees who work remotely or on-the-go, said the press release, with integration among multiple offices and mobile devices so that employees can communicate with colleagues and customers no matter where they are. While the service is high-tech, it’s also simple to use.
