Stefan Mygas of Yorktown was appointed as an assistant principal at Gloucester High School in personnel actions taken by the Gloucester School Board during its Dec. 9 meeting. The appointment is effective Jan. 5.

Also, Eva Davis of Gloucester was appointed as a teacher assistant at GHS and Alaina Walker of Gloucester was appointed as the in-school suspension coordinator at Page Middle School.

Resignations were accepted from GHS business teacher David Dick and support employee Kim Buck. In addition, retirement was approved for facilities energy manager David Simmons.

In positions paid by stipend, Craig Raines was appointed as the varsity boys’ soccer coach and Cecil Dougherty was appointed as the junior varsity baseball coach, both at GHS. ...
