Arts on Main has a pair of classes coming up later this month at its gallery on Main Street, Gloucester.
On Saturday, Jan. 27, Blair Waters will teach an infant/toddler class from 10-11 a.m. Children will explore conventional and non-conventional art techniques that focus on using their fine motor skills through play.
The cost is $25 per child. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire class. All materials will be provided.
Also on Jan. 27, Rebecca West will teach a beginner’s oil painting class from 1-4 p.m. Students will use brushes and palette knives to create a textured painting of a baby blue heron standing in the water.
The cost of the class is $45 per students, who will be required to bring their own supplies.
