Arts on Main is calling all artists for submissions to its 2020 Annual Juried Exhibition, which opens on March 6.

The exhibit will run through April, with the potential of a number of works being selected for Arts on Main’s Annual “Art and Flowers” exhibition. This exhibition celebrates the beauty of spring with live floral arrangements inspired by select works, said a press release. 

Both exhibits will be on display during the Gloucester Daffodil Festival, exposing the participating artists to over 20,000 visitors from across Virginia and beyond.

Entries will be judged and prizes awarded for the top three places, said the release. First-place winner will receive $1,000 and a solo exhibition at Arts on Main’s gallery. Accepted works will be offered for sale at the exhibition. The prizes for second and third places are $500 and $250, respectively.

The early entry deadline is midnight on Dec. 13, with an early entrance fee of $25 for three entries. After ...
