Arts on Main in Gloucester has a busy Friday planned, with the weekly Open Studio from noon-2 p.m. and First Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Open Studio on Friday afternoons invites artists to bring their art and supplies and paint free of charge alongside other artists in the community. It provides an opportunity to create new friendships and get advice on “your next masterpiece.” No reservations are required.

First Friday will feature art by Mel Neale and a Collaborative Botanical Show, with live music provided by multi-genre artist Lane Rice. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
